Freesat Installations
Freesat is a free-to-air satellite services provided by the BBC and ITV. There are no monthly subscriptions, it offers over 300 TV and radio channels and several HD channels are free! Freesat also offers fast digital text services and enhanced interactivity as well as digital subtitles and audio description. If you struggle to receive Freeview in your area then Freesat may be the answer and if your home already has a dish installed you may already be half-way there. To receive Freesat you’ll need a satellite decoder and a dish. We can supply and install all the equipment you’ll need. European Satellite Services in Berkshire and Beyond
Receiving international satellite TV in the UK can seem like a daunting task. But it’s not as problematic as you might think. We at BAS have been providing European and international satellite solutions for our customers for decades.
Back in the early days of Sky analogue we were able to receive a certain number of international channels from the same satellite. Today, to get the best service, we need to use separate dishes and decoders. There are three options to choose from for free to air European channels; Astra 1 (19º E), Eutelsat Atlantic Bird 3 (5º W) or Eutelsat Hotbird (13º E). Thankfully these can all be received using only a medium sized dish and decoder.
