European Satellite Services
Receiving international satellite TV in the UK can seem like a daunting task. But it’s not as difficult as you might imagine. We at BAS have been providing European and international satellite solutions for our customers for decades.
Back in the early days of Sky analogue we were able to receive a certain number of international channels from the same satellite. Today, to get the best service, we need to use separate dishes and decoders. There are three options to choose from for free to air European channels; Astra 1 (19º E), Eutelsat Atlantic Bird 3 (5º W) or Eutelsat Hotbird (13º E). Thankfully these can all be received using only a medium sized dish and decoder.
